Redeeming the Time

We have enjoyed several weeks of vacation and are getting ready for the change of season. I took this picture last weekend on the Kancamangus Highway in New Hampshire. The foliage was just starting to change and should be near peak this weekend.

I love this time of the year. Crisp, sunny days and cool nights. We were able to walk along a crystal clear stream and over a covered bridge in our quest to spot a moose.

In our Etsy shop we are busy making and listing new products. As the weather changes, we all need warm and snuggly clothes. Cory is busy spinning yarn and preparing fiber. She has several beautiful spinning wheels. We will feature them here on our blog in the near future.

Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

A Visit to the Farm

While in New Hampshire over the Memorial Day weekend, we visited Heritage Farm. This is located near Laconia. They have a pancake house open several days a week, a petting zoo, hayrides, maple sugar products, and more. This is a great place for families. Cory met several ladies who also spin yarn or crochet and we all plan to get together while we are spending time in New Hampshire this summer. If your summer plans include a trip to the lakes region in NH, check out the Heritage Farm at http://www.heritagefarm.net/.
